FROM THE NEWS-ENTERPRISE:

With a crowd of young actors on hand, Beauty and the Beast came out Saturday, above, to present a check for $10,000 from First Federal Savings Bank to the Youth Theatre of Hardin County at the conclusion of the theatre's workshop at the Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center at John Hardin High School. The Beauty and the Beast were Keith Johnson, president and CEO of First Federal Savings Bank, and Gwen Brink also with the bank. The money will cover approximately one-third of the theater's production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," theater President Bill Marsee said. The gift is the largest single donation in the organization's 37-season history, according to board members. This season's costs are expected to exceed a typical year due to the more elaborate costumes and sets required for the show. With the Beast head removed, Keith Johnson, president and CEO of First Federal Savings Bank, left, speaks with the media after presenting a $10,000 check to the Youth Theatre of Hardin County. Performances are set for the second and third weekends in July.
THANK YOU FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK!!
